LA RAMBLA, Los Angeles County — County planners are preparing a South Bay Capital Improvement Plan for unincorporated communities, including La Rambla, to assess priorities for infrastructure investment.

The county says the 2026 process considers the condition of local transportation, sewer and stormwater systems, future growth and climate resilience. The February 11, 2026 kickoff meeting and associated presentations are listed on the county’s project site.

Planning is not a funded road project

La Rambla’s inclusion in a regional study does not mean that a specific sewer line, sidewalk or road has been approved for construction. Residents can review reports and planning maps, then contact the appropriate county department for the status of a specific facility.

Earlier surveys may already be closed; interested residents should check the current planning page for newly announced opportunities to comment and identify the precise location of an infrastructure concern.
